hTC new one's delay-- a bless in disguise.

Now we really look back, we will find the delay of hTC one is a blessing in disguise. That’s said if hTC one is on time, than it’s one month earlier than S4. Because S4 is so highly expected, the most reasonable for average consumers will wait for S4 arrive then compare with hTC one to decide which to buy. This waiting will cause the initial sales of new one looks poor. It’s not good for the follow-up marketing.

However now new one almost arrives at the same time with s4 in many markets, so there is no wait time, people can do one on one comparison between s4 and new one. It’s much better for new one sales, just as long as products of hTC outpace competitor. So will hTC change the timing of flagship launch next time?  
The most important thing is hTC have to put a lot of effort about supply management to make delivery exactly as they and customers wish.
There won't be so much luck next time.
